Cryptographic Module Testing
ECSEC Lab is a testing laboratory for both the Japan Cryptographic Module Validation Program (JCMVP) and the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP).
ECSEC Lab was accredited by the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) and approved by the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA) on 7 December 2007 as the first private sector testing organization for the JCMVP (ASNITE accreditation number: ASNITE 0003T).
On 17 December 2008, ECSEC Lab became the first testing organization in Asia to be accredited by the NVLAP of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for CMVP and CAVP (NVLAP Lab Code：200835-0).
